Imani Collective

Hi, my name is Jenny Nuccio and I am the founder of Imani Collective. My journey started in 2009 when I went on my first trip to Kenya. Over the years, I continued to return to Kenya and developed stronger relationships with the women of Mtepeni Village. In 2013, I sold everything and moved to Kenya full time to start Imani Collective. I started with 16 beautiful women who I consider my best friends and we began with learning the simple skill of sewing. This year we will be celebrating 5 years and now employ almost 60 artisans in Kenya. The road has not been easy, but it has been beautiful. My favorite part is that I am on the ground and live in Kenya. I get to work side by side with our women every day.At Imani Collective, our products are all handmade by our Kenyan artisans. We provide a range of modern + whimsical home decor pieces for shared spaces including pillows, rugs, blankets, childrens pillows, wall hangings, and felt cactus planters. Weve also recently added canvas totes + clutches. All of our products are ethically made and fair trade. We also love working with companies to create custom pieces for their businesses, retreats, or organizations. For information about custom orders, please email . Together, we unleash a woman's greatness through empowerment + opportunity +community.
